Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2014 – Domaine Rene Bouvier

100% Pinot Noir. This Charmes-Chambertin wine has striking aromatic intensity: violet, liquorice, vanilla, quince, and red fruit. The tannins are dense but perfectly polished, and the length on the palate impresses with its persistence and the elegance of its texture. The exciting savoury finish revives the flavour. Although it can be kept for 10 to 20 years, you can drink it in the first 5 years by decanting it one hour before serving the wine.
